Dear Members of the Palmer Stake,

In early February, a significant milestone was reached as the Glennallen Group of the Valdez Ward became the independent Glennallen Branch. This is a wonderful opportunity for the Saints in Glennallen to grow and serve in ways they have not been able to before.

However, the Glennallen Branch needs our support.

 We invite all members of the Palmer Stake to participate in a 60-day Stake-Wide "rolling" Fast on behalf of the Glennallen Branch and the Lord’s work in that area.

 What We Are Asking

 We are asking members to pray and fast that the Glennallen Branch will grow—through move-ins, baptisms, and members returning to the Church.

 As Esther of old gathered her people to fast for deliverance (Esther 4:16), we likewise invite you to join us in this united act of faith.

 How It Will Work

 •     The fast will begin on May 1, 2025, and continue for 60 days.

•     We hope to create a rolling fast, where members or families sign up for a specific day to fast, ensuring that at least one person, possibly more, in the stake is fasting for Glennallen every single day.

•     As many individuals, families, or groups that desire can fast each day.

This is more than a fast—it’s an opportunity for us to lift and support our brothers and sisters in Glennallen. By uniting in faith, prayer, and sacrifice, we can help strengthen the branch and invite the Spirit to guide the work there.
